The right pair. Tried, tested, in your hands.
A specialist range of Hawke Optics binoculars, monoculars and spotting scopes — chosen because they offer professional-grade glass at sensible prices, and backed by what is probably the best warranty in the business. Come in and try them.
Covered for life. Whatever happened.
Drop them, drown them, sit on them, leave them in the rain — if a Hawke binocular or scope you buy from us becomes damaged or defective, Hawke will repair or replace it at no cost. No quibbles about how it happened, no fault-finding, no charge. It’s genuinely the best warranty in the industry, and it’s one of the main reasons we stock them.
Wait — what’s a monocular?
A monocular is essentially half a binocular — one tube, one eyepiece, same optical quality. Significantly smaller, lighter, and cheaper than a binocular of the same glass grade. Brilliant for popping in a jacket pocket on a walk, taking to the theatre, or keeping in the glove compartment for spontaneous wildlife sightings.
The trade-off: you’re looking with one eye only, which can be tiring over long periods. For sustained birdwatching at a hide, a binocular wins. For everything else — especially “I want something good but don’t want to carry it” — a monocular is often the smarter choice.
Available across most of the Hawke ranges. Just ask.
The right binoculars depend entirely on what you’ll be looking at.
Different uses call for different specifications — weight, magnification, low-light performance, image clarity. Here’s a quick guide to what we’d typically recommend for the most common reasons people come in.
Four tiers. Same warranty across all of them.
Hawke ranges step up in optical quality and price as you move through Vantage, Nature Trek, Endurance and Frontier APO. The good news: even the entry-level Vantage is properly capable kit; the further up you go, the more you get in glass quality, low-light performance, and finish. Click any range to see the models.
Vantage
The best place to start. Solid, well-built, sensibly priced — ideal if you’re new to binoculars or want a reliable pair without spending big.
Nature Trek
A step up in optical clarity and build quality. Excellent all-rounders for walking, birdwatching, and general nature observation — probably our best-selling range.
Endurance
Extra-low dispersion (ED) glass for noticeably sharper images and better colour fidelity. The serious wildlife and birding enthusiast’s choice.
Frontier APO
Apochromatic (APO) glass with extreme clarity and flat field view. The flagship range — for buyers who want the best optics Hawke makes, including for astronomy.
Accessories
Tripods, harnesses, straps, lens covers, cases, and digi-scoping adaptors — everything to get more from your binoculars or scope.
