Send a thoughtful message — with a piece of Marlborough on the front.
An exclusive collection of greetings cards featuring original local photography by Pete, beautifully reworked as illustrations and printed on premium card stock. Each one carries a familiar local scene to the front door of someone who’ll recognise it instantly.
Photographs, redrawn.
Every card in the range starts as one of Pete’s own photographs — a quiet corner of the High Street, the Mound at dusk, a familiar stretch of downland, the Town Hall on a clear morning. Each image is then carefully reworked into an illustration, keeping the composition and character of the original while softening it into something hand-drawn in feel.
The result is a card that’s a little more thoughtful than a standard photograph print, and immediately recognisable to anyone who knows the place. A piece of Marlborough — or of Wiltshire — reimagined on the front of a card.
Marlborough College, drawn from above.
The current set draws on Pete’s aerial and street photography of Marlborough College — six familiar landmarks reimagined as soft watercolour illustrations. New cards from elsewhere in the town and county are added as Pete photographs them.
A card that earns its place on the mantel.
The best greetings cards aren’t opened, read, and recycled the same afternoon — they sit on the windowsill or the mantel for a fortnight, quietly reminding the recipient that someone thought of them. Heavy card stock, soft watercolour treatment, and a familiar local scene make these the kind that stay up.
